Well Reserved Pop-Up: Dance with FitNic

  • 119 8th Street, Suite 215 Brooklyn, NY, 11215 United States (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Well Reserved is a fitness startup that provides groups of friends to rent private workout space. To celebrate the launch of FitNic, we'll be kicking off Well Reserved's first pop-up with an all-levels dance class taught by me! :)

The dance class will begin at 10AM and end at 12PM. This includes a warm up, choreography, cool down, and time to take pictures, etc. It will be street jazz style - think sassy and cool. You can wear sneakers, although if wearing jazz shoes or going barefoot is more comfortable, go for it! We will be learning a fun combination that you're probably going to want to show all of your friends later.

My mission by hosting this class is to make a comfortable environment that makes everyone feel empowered, confident, sexy, and strong...without the competitive or intimidating nature of many professional/adult dance classes. The class is $20 (great deal - just saying!) Spots are limited, so reserve here!! See you on the dance floor!

FitNic March Meet-Up

Please join Nicole (@fitnicnyc) for a low-key evening of connecting with like-minded class-goers and wellness enthusiasts!

What to do:
When you arrive at Gansevoort Market, head alllllll the way back, past the food vendors. You'll see me and the crew at one of the long picnic tables.

FAQs:
Will there be food, bathrooms, outlets to charge my phone, etc?
-Yes, Gansevoort Market is a food hall...like Chelsea Market with seating and without the tourists! It's a win-win situation!

Is it an open-door event?
-Yes! Most people (including me) are coming from work, but do your best to arrive as close to 6:30pm as possible. No ticket required, just your RSVP.

Is it a workout?
-No, it's a hangout where we'll talk about  fitness, wellness, and the like. Feel free to wear your Lulus, Nikes, and a pineapple bun, though!

Can I bring a friend? What if I don't know anyone?
-Absolutely, and that's okay. You'll make new friends with common interests. It'll be fun, promise.

What else do I need to know?
-That's it! Just show up and mingle. I'm always taking suggestions for new ideas for meet-ups!
